Birthday Card Trio

Hello all, I'm back again with another post for you. This time I've got three cards to show you.  These are all made with products from Crafter's Companion. The 1st is another dragon card made using one of the Lee Holland Dragon stamps. I love these little characters :) I've had coloured this using spectrum noir colour blend pencils. I just love how much of a fun looking card you can make with these stamps.    Next is a card made using a unicorn stamp. This has also been hand coloured with pencils. I've also used some backing papers and matt mirror and glitter card from Sara's Enchanted forest collection. Finally I've made a card using my Crafter's Companion BeBunni CD. It's a while since I've used this cd but I forgot how cute these little bunnies are.   All of the cards have been personalised with die cut numbers and letters for the names. Hope to see you all again soon. Rachel

You make my heart happy card and hello again!!

Hi everyone, can't believe it's been 3 1/2 years since I last blogged. Thought I'd start it up again. I've still been creating and sharing bits on my Facebook page. A lot has happened since I last posted, I was quiet unwell in 2017 and needed surgery to sort out a condition I was going through. Then when I felt well I found out that I was pregnant. We now have a lovely little boy called Joshua. He's 2 1/2 years now. We've also moved house and have been renovating it. We're all done now thankfully.  Right now time to share the card I finished yesterday. This is made using a stamped image by Lee Holland Called With Love . It's produced by Crafter's Companion. I love how cute and fun this image is. I think this range of stamps will soon become my new favourite stamps. I colured the image using my spectrum noir colourblend pencils.  The backing papers are digital ones I've had a while on my PC from Nitwit Collections.  I've mat and layered onto

Christmas in August

Hi all I'm back again I've made my first card with the collection from Crafter's Companion designed by Stacey Barras. I have coloured the image using sparkle pens and added extra details with a white gel pen, glitter and gems. I'm really pleased with how it has turned out. That's it for this evening.  Hopefully will be back tomorrow to share something else with you. Thanks for popping by Hugs

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was lookin

A few more of my recent makes

Hi all I'm back today to share a few more recent makes. I love crafting and creating. I find it very relaxing. I've not been well lately as you may know so haven't been very energetic. When I've been feeling upto it I've spent a little bit of time in my craft room. I've got a few simple cards to share with you and also a wall hanging. Here goes with the cards Don't you just love Hunkydory products. I do I have loads and love how they can make simple but effective cards. Here's another Hunkydory card This one is made with a Hobby House image and the papers are from a First Edition Paper Pad House Mouse decoupage this time. I sat one night in front of the TV and had some crafty cutting and cut out a couple of toppers that I've used on these two cards. The first card I used papers from a First Edition Paper Pad and the second the papers were from a Lili of the Valley Paper Pad. I've added gems and

Vintage Floral Butterfly Tree Canvas

Hi all This is a Canvas I have created. I've been working on it over a few weeks now. I initially decorated the base of the canvas with various papers, inks, paints, texture paste and script stamps; and painted the tree but was then stuck on what to add to it. I left it for a while whilst I came up with what I wanted to do. Then I decided I wanted some bigger flowers, and found some Prima flowers and added some additional mixed media elements and smaller flowers I already had in my stash. Along with glitters and diamante embellishments. I also die cut a fancy flourish for the corner (not that you can see much of it, oops) and a quote. I did two layers for the die cuts and glued them together so that they were thicker. Well here's a picture of it   I'm quite pleased with how it has turned out.  This is a video which shows some of the elements in more detail. You can even see the glitter sparkling. (Sorry it's a bit shaky I used my phone. It'

Moonflower digital delight

She gives great tips and I am pleased with how my colouring is progressing. Well here's the image coloured with my spectrum noir markers. I think the image is beautiful and will certainly be using her for more projects in the future.  Right now here's the finished card. I hope you like it. I'm pleased with how it
